Community Scholarship Fund Reaches 100 Graduates
A decade of collective giving has now carried one hundred students across the graduation stage — a milestone that began with a single fundraising dinner.
When one of us rises, the whole community rises with them.
Ten years ago, a small group of members gathered around a single table with a shared conviction: that no young person in our community should be turned away from an education for lack of means. This week, we celebrated the one hundredth graduate supported by the Community Scholarship Fund.
The fund now supports students across four continents, spanning fields from nursing and civil engineering to law, education and public health. Each recipient commits to mentoring the next cohort, creating a chain of support that grows stronger every year.
This milestone belongs to every member who contributed — whether a monthly pledge, a one-time gift, or the countless volunteer hours spent organising fundraising events. It is a testament to what steady, collective commitment can achieve.
